Tips for the Presentation
A successful speech is made out of the proper content, which is well and personally presented.
- Content: establish the topic, collect material, organise material
- Construction of the Speech: introduction, body and conclusion
- Realistic Timing
- Personal Behaviour: Speak freely, loud and clear, slowly and in short sentences, looking at your audience.
- Note Cards: to help remember, to recall one’s thoughts, to notate numbers and complicated concepts, to help with timing and to hold to it
Tasks:
1. Select (minimum) two pages out of the ones shown above.
2. Prepare a PowerPoint presentation about the selected topics of 2-3 slides for the pres-entation in your class. For more information use the given links and internet search.
